Collection: Women's Merino Wool Compression Socks

Women's merino wool compression socks with 15-20 mmHg graduated compression, knit in the USA.

Whether you're on a cross-country flight, a long hiking day or a full shift on your feet, our women's merino wool compression socks give your legs steady, comfortable support. Graduated compression is firmest at the ankle and eases up the calf to help keep heavy, achy legs at bay.

Every pair is knit in Fort Payne, Alabama from Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certified merino and backed by our lifetime guarantee. Shopping for him? See our men's merino wool compression socks.

Women's Merino Wool Compression Socks FAQ

Which women's compression sock should I choose?

All four styles have the same 15-20 mmHg graduated compression, over-the-calf height and merino blend, so the choice comes down to cushion and look. The Ultralight is our thinnest and coolest pair. The Light Cushion adds padding underfoot for long days and rocky trails. The Retro and Pinstripe are the Ultralight with a fun pattern.

What's the difference between Ultralight and Light Cushion compression socks?

Ultralight has a thin knit all over, so it breathes best and fits easily in snug running shoes. Light Cushion has extra padding under the foot, which helps on long hikes, hard pavement and all-day shifts. If your feet run hot or you mostly run, start with Ultralight. If your feet get sore by the end of the day, go with Light Cushion.

Do all of your compression socks have the same compression level?

Yes. Every Cloudline compression sock has 15-20 mmHg of moderate, graduated compression, snuggest at the ankle and easing up the calf. That level is made for everyday wear, sport and travel. It isn't a medical-grade fit, so if a doctor has prescribed a specific level, check with them first.

Who are merino compression socks good for?

They're popular with runners and hikers who want less leg fatigue, travelers on long flights and drives, and people who stand all day, like nurses, teachers and retail workers. They also work well after a hard effort when your legs need to recover.

Why merino wool instead of regular nylon compression socks?

Most compression socks are all synthetic, which can trap heat and hold odor. Ours are 56% merino wool, 29% nylon and 15% spandex. The merino wicks moisture, resists odor and stays soft against your skin, so you can wear them all day or for several days on the trail. The nylon and spandex give the support and help them hold their shape.

Which sizes do the women's compression socks come in?

Sizes follow your US women's shoe size: Small 4 to 6.5, Medium 7 to 9.5, Large 10 to 12.5 and X-Large 13 to 15. The Pinstripe comes in Small to Large. See our size guide for help between sizes.

How do I wash merino compression socks?
