Yes it’s true, these socks rock! My feet tend to perspire a lot requiring me to change my shoes every 4-6 months due to bad odor. Over the years I’ve tried various kinds of athletic socks and nothing seems to work.
These custom light cushion socks are the best in terms of thickness and comfort. I tried the medium sized socks but they were too thick for me. Although my feet still sweat in these, I’m not uncomfortable in them and even after 12-18 hours of wear, my feet and the socks are odor free. It’s amazing! I’ve been using them daily for 3 weeks and I am pleasantly surprised. I think they are worth the money.
Not to mention customer service is outstanding! They replaced the medium sized socks I originally ordered without any hesitation. I will continue to buy them and recommend them.
Love these socks! Been stocking up for winter! It's a strange thing to say, but they never smell, they dry quicker than any 'normal' sock and you can't beat that warranty.
The socks are decent for the price. One of the three pairs I ordered came with stitching already coming undone, which is not ideal. The other two are okay but nothing spectacular. I'll probably go with a different brand next time. I'd give these a 5/10

The elastic cuff is just enough to keep the sock snug without constricting skin. This is perhaps one of the best features of CloudLine socks.

Bought these and have used them almost every day, really like them. Comfy and don't stink. I did get a size large with size 12 shoes. Xl was just too big. The exchange was a piece of cake.

I really have no idea why anyone would buy any other brand of sock. They are comfortable, wash well, and outlast any other brand that I have tried. I watch a lot of YouTube videos of hikers reviewing gear, and never Cloud line and they are seriously missing out on the best product out there.

I purchased 8 pair a decade ago, they quickly became my favorite socks. I lost a few, the others are starting to get thin so, I purchased six more. My 82 yo dad wanted 2 pair so, I purchased six more. There’s a good chance I’ll die in a pair of these socks.

To distinguish between the different thicknesses, you can feel it in the sock itself or turn them inside-out and see the cushion thickness. The medium cushion has the thickness inside the entire sock, light cushion had the thickness under the foot pads, and ultralight is our thinnest sock available. For the different 'tops,' our no-shows are just under the ankle bone, the 1/4 tops are just above the ankle bone, hiking socks are roughly mid-calf, and our ski/snowboard and compression socks are over-the-calf. I hope that helps!
Regarding where we make our socks, we knit in Fort Payne, AL and our merino wool is soured from around the world, including USA, but there isn't a lot of high-quality merino raised here. We are proud that our wool supplier only sources from farms that meet the responsible-wool-standard to ensure the sheep are humanely raised and the land is sustainable used.

I’ve always had issues with my feet, but not since I started wearing Cloudline. No more sweating and itching.

I'm very much enjoying these socks! Light cushion is good enough for my "cold" weather runs (low 37F)
I tried to get a run in between bouts of rain, but failed. I ended up running a little over 10k, and was rained on 3 times. There was some accidental puddle splashing. My socks got wet around the ball of the foot and toes, but my feet stayed warm. More importantly, I didn't get any blisters.
Mine have not shrunk much, if at all, after two washes.

Wicks away sweat like crazy
Does everything better than regular cotton socks, including picking up dog hairs. My dog sheds quite a bit, but the hairs never got entangled deep into the fibers on my cotton socks like they do with these wool socks. They can then be transferred into my boots which is a little annoying, but besides that these socks fixed all the issues I was having with cotton socks. A-

Warm and comfortable with space in the toes for size 11.
Running up in Washington state in the winter your feet are going to get wet. These socks have kept my feet warm and comfortable regardless of the conditions outside. I'm slowly trading out all my old socks for cloudiness. The 3 packs a quick way to do it!
